Beating Oklahoma would be the easy answer for me, but beating Mich. St. in the independence bowl will always be one of my favorites. I started LSU Archers last year and then had to watch Curley for three years. I was so excited for lsu not only be playing in a bowl game but actually winning it. A lot of tiger fans stormed the field after the game and I was one.

yea, and I thought I would not live to see another LSU NC. that game left a lot of satisfaction to me.

in a sense, LSU football has not been quite as much fun since then. it seems like it's too much pressure.

I've been at every big game in Tiger Stadium since the late 60s but '71 LSU - Notre Dame is still the biggest game for me. All I can say is if you were there, you know why I say it.

Amen. Bert Jones was my Tiger hero when I was a kid. I met him about a year ago in insurance work. I'm 55 now and felt like a little kid again. We talked for awhile. I told him that was my all time favorite game. He said, "well I was there". In those days LSU beating down Notre Dame was a big deal. They were big time.

Very underrated game - met them again in the SEC Championship Game. That Georgia team was loaded with senior leadership. Never forget my buddies lived on Stanford and we posted up in lawn chairs on the side of the road heckling the Georgia fans and passing out beers to the LSU fans stuck in traffic attempting to get to the interstate. Great times!!

Ones I went to?

2001 Auburn game. Best atmosphere. Saban starts with onside kick, band fight, winner goes to ATL

2007 Florida game. Announcing USC loss and Tigers win at end.

2004 OSU game.

Was at '88 Auburn game. That game was frustrating to watch. Every time it seemed like LSU was going to move the ball, the drive would get stalled. That Auburn team was pretty damn good that year. What happened at the end was a game's worth of emotion building up.
