I'm an old timer, I guess. I've got two. 1971 against Notre Dame on ABC TV. In those days it was really big to be on national TV. Mostly me and my dad listened to John Furgeson on the radio. He was great. Bert Jones to Andy Hamilton. Tommy Casinova picking off passes. LSU 28-8. I was 10 years old. I'll never forget it. Got to meet Bert last year. Awesome moment. Then 1982 against Florida State. Penalties on the crowd for throwing oranges. Fog rolling in. Winner to Orange Bowl in a game I went to and we should have beaten a great Nebraska team. Those I'll can never forget. Wish I'd been at the auburn 1988 game. What's yours?

Not necessarily the greatest games, but the ones that really meant something to you. There have been many through the years. Herb Tyler beating Florida for example. That was awesome.

1982 win against Bama in Birmingham was my favorite away game. The atmosphere was electric for the Tigers and their fans. Bama didn't get one first-down during the entire first half of the game. We were going nuts. Beat them 20-10. Just about every LSU fan stayed in the stadium to wait for the team to return after their showers. Best road trip ever!

Many home games come to mind but the one that stands out was in 1972 (I think) when we scored in the last second against Ole Miss. Many fans were already in the parking lot and came running back into the stadium as we won the game. Ole Miss is still bitter about the win and think that time ran out.

That Oregon game was a great one. I wonder if there are any real old timers around here. I wonder if anyone on here was at the LSU vs OLE MISS Billy Cannon punt return. I bet that was cool.

After that game, it dawned on me that it was going to happen.

The game where the clock turned back. Bert Jones to Brad ???? Can't remember his last name. What a great game.

Like someone said, this will be a popular pick but the '07 Florida game is my all-time favorite.

No one ever mentions this one, but LSU beating a strong Tennessee team in 2000 was my favorite game. Tennessee was dissing the Tigers' home field advantage during the week. The game came just one week after that UAB fiasco, probably the low point in LSU football history. Rohan Davey had a coming out party this game and the atmosphere was ELECTRIC. This is the game which started the current era a LSU as a powerful football program to be reckoned with.

That 2000 Tennessee game may have been the loudest since '97 Florida and '79 USC...
