FWIW you're still an idiot. We have playmakers/difference-makers but lack consistent focus and lack depth in the front 7.

And they still soft

Adams is a situational hitter but it comes to str8 one on one with a tackle to a rbs chest, I've seen him duckin many times....

Beckwith, when have you ever once seen him scrape down the line to a b or c gap, blow up a block and tackle the rb behind the line of scrimmage...never...in fact if u watch closely he takes wider angles that get him in trouble instead of running inside out....

As far as the d line.....ummm truck holes over and over is all im gonna say,all yr...

Every db is soft when it comes to knocking the snot out of people....the last time I saw a db hit rbs, recievers and qbs with reckles abandon(punishing tackling) was harry coleman and that was 6 seasons ago...not one of our dbs play that way and not to mention play the shittest cover 2 I ever saw..wait a minute wth we even running a cover 2...but that's on coach...anyways...the only player close to making any difference is neal but even he isn't a high level player....

depth is the problem. Godchaux is far from soft.

secondary has been a issue all year. But White has played well when he's healthy. Jefferson and Thomas have killed this secondary all year.

Quit looking at the players. It all starts with Miles and his stubborn ways.

the point I'm trying to make is that we do have individual players who are top tier. All I've listed are already projected 1st rounders. It's not just my opinion. Will they all be? idk, anything can happen. But right now they are all top 3 at their position in all of CFB.

The talent is there to not be soft. I think LSU has stopped the run well up until Bama and then Arkansas of course. Idk what happened. But the secondary has been exposed all year. Jefferson is constantly out of position and when your safety (last resort) is out of position, you get big plays.

So when are all these difference makers going to start making a difference?

Watch the replay of Arkys first TD Saturday and then try to tell us how Adams is such a great safety.

I won't pretend he hasn't made mistakes. He's a sophomore. But overall Adams has been a damn good safety since he's been at LSU.

and these players have made a difference. I only listed 4 players.

Sometimes I see posts that make me wonder how someone is able to even navigate the Internet in order to be able to make the post. This is one of those times.

Being soft on defense I'm not sure what miles has to do with it

No one knows what happens in practice but I just cant understand why we so soft on defense and we get whipped up front more and more as a game goes on....all I ca. Figure is we recruited soft players..stats and what we are on the field is right there to prove it..all yr....I'll admit,I rather the saban school of thought on defense, not sure what ours is...when a player showed weakness on d, saban would literally undress a kid right there on the sideline....screw the kids feelings, grow up...we just soft
