Have you forgot about T-Bob and Jimmy? Probably the 2 worst.

Especially T-Bob
I don't listen to T-Bob. And I almost listed Ott but he doesn't really even try to give that many takes and lets Hanny handle it.

Without Poche Pitching 75%.

We talking about today?

Poche: 100%
Gilbert: 100%
Bain: 100%
Strall: 100%
KRob: 100%

What bothers me is the argument that "Walker may not pitch for 3 weeks and his first game would be the 3rd in Omaha" well if that's our worst problem then I'll take my chances!

75% change to win today without poche? We have like a 75% chance of winning the whole regional. Today is 99.99 vs 99.98. with/without.

So, what would you guys be saying if we started someone besides one of our weekend starters and lost the game?

"Fire PM, blah blah blah "

I know it's highly unlikely, but baseball is a weird sport. It's why teams like CC can win the CWS.

Regardless of who started, Paul can't win with TD.com

There are a ton of people waiting for LSU to slip somewhere along the way so they can come back and crucify our coaches for the move.

Piss on those people. I care about them about as much as I care about our POS mayor.

To TSU? Burn the program to the ground IMO.

It is pretty bad. He'll ask questions to Hanny trying to get info on the spot.

Why are we acting like a team in one baseball game has absolutely no chance of winning a game? This is baseball... Anything can happen in ONE game. We have seen it this year.

I am confident LSU will win today, but to say 99.99 is foolish. We dont beat this team 99 times out of 100.

Coastal Carolina's team from this season that didn't make the postseason could play Texas Southern 10 times this year & they'd win all 10 times.

Pros:

- gives us the best chance of winning the game today (I know we should win it no matter what, but we have seen this season that playing weaker teams isn't always a given. Texas Southern doesn't look great on paper, but they did have to win a bunch of games in a row to get here).

- Almost a certainty Walker pitches this weekend.

- Allows Poche to possibly come back on Monday if he's needed.

Con's:

- If Poche has a high stress outing and can't come back and pitch if needed, we are throwing the whole staff against a team in the championship, with a ton on the line, instead of Texas Southern.

It's crazy to me that you think the Pros outweight the cons from your list.

I will always lean towards giving your team the best chance of winning 3 games.

I think you've leaned the opposite way.

You completely missed the point.

I understand that TS sucks, but let's not act like weird shite doesn't happen in baseball.

Dude the argument can certainly be made for not starting Poche. I'm not saying that it would be an absolute stupid decision to start Gilbert. Its also not an absolute stupid decision to start Poche either.

That's why you have a difference of opinion?

You think we lose 1 out of 4 to Texas Southern with Peterson or Bain on the mound? That's crazy.

The SWAC doesn't play baseball though.

Well agree to disagree then. I dont think any D1 college program beats another D1 program 99 times out of 100 no matter how good or bad someone is. They are playing college baseball, so they can't be totally shite baseball players who don't belong on the field. If they were then how did they win their tournament and win any games for that matter.
