And let the students have as much of the 25% percent as possible. They only have a few years to experience TS as a student and deserve every opportunity. Older fans like myself have had my tickets in my family for 40 years and I just can’t imagine going into a barely alive TS, with a mask after not tailgating all day. Just take a year, have your tailgates at home or friends houses and support the Tigers from there. It’s gonna be terrible for us non students and I think the students would enjoy it more. Just my opinion. Downvote away.

Inb4 don’t tell me what to do, students don’t show up anyway, it’s my right etc etc etc

The students now probably don’t even care about football anymore.

Well admins if this has already been hashed out feel free to delete. Just thought I’d bring this up in case some people forgot what it was like to be a student in TS.

You think that many students care or want to go to the games? It's not like it used to be.

While I don't completely disagree with the idea, it's not as cut and dry as season ticket holders being old people versus students. Many season ticket holders take their children to games and it is a huge highlight of their childhood.

From a personal perspective I go way back to 1959 in Baylor vs LSU in Shreveport, Billy Cannon and all.

I think this is a great idea. Let the student enjoy what we have for decades and hopefully they will become future supporters ($$$$$) of LSU's Tigers in all sports.

They should give all the tickets to black students since LSU is so woke but I'm guessing they're not that woke.

already opted out, but wanted to jump in thread before someone says "why, so the stadium can be empty at halftime?" etc. etc. etc.

Wasn’t crapping on your post, just pointing out that some here don’t think the students should have any voice in getting tickets. Even though their classmates are on the field

But isn’t the student section 15,000 so who gets the other 10,000?

You would think. But based on responses here and downvotes, it’s pretty clear that some non student fans feel they are more entitled than the students to attend a university sports function. More power to them. Enjoy the spring game atmosphere with their masks I guess.

Me and my buddy who have tickets totally agree!!! The whole 25% should be students and family. Sadly the 25% will mainly be made of old donors who will probably LOVE how quiet it finally is, and that no one is standing to cheer and getting in their way.
