Or because of NCAA rules, no liquor can be sold?
Let the down votes rain if this has been asked or I sound stupid.
Google didn't help so I came to the most knowledgeable place I could think of.
Thanks guys

Looks I'll be waist banding a pint of bourbon and buying $7 cokes.
Thanks for the response if true, however I would venture they are $12 at the most

Games not at an SEC campus serve alcohol.

Some schools like WVU also serve alcohol.

honestly i think they are 8.50 / beer if they follow saints prices. aggravating enough to just give the beer man a 10 and tell him keep it for every beer you want

The Saints have a good way to cut down on drunkenness. The cheap beers are $9.50 and the premium brands are $11.50.

It was never an NCAA rule, just an SEC thang. However, every bowl game, "kick off classic" game, etc. usually serves beer and/or alcohol.

Heck, Tulane's new stadium has a great selection of beers on tap. It's like a mini Bulldog.

There is no NCAA rule against alcohol sales.

This is a myth. Alcohol in all forms was sold at NRG for LSU- Wisc games and I am sure at any other Pro stadiums they have played in.
