Name one guy in the media...local or national...that talks about themselves more than Alan Risher. Can he discuss anything at all without talking about himself? Without a doubt, he is his biggest fan.

Local, none. National, Mack Brown.

But Jordy at least does it in a somewhat self-deprecating manner when he talks about his playing career. Risher took offense a couple weeks back when Charlie said he was in a two QB system.

I just get tired of hearing him tell everyone how great he was.

Risher <> humility
Risher <> humble
Risher = arrogance

He's grown on me, tbh. It's BR. We could do a lot worse than Risher. Imagine Richard Condon in his spot.

I'm actually a pretty big fan of Risher.

He's knowledgeable and doesn't sugar coat his opinions.....so Frick you

I guess if people aren't gonna bitch about actual football they'll bitch about the people that provide insight about football.

I'll assume you have hated Rish since he was the starter at LSU. Shocking.

Did y'all know Alan Risher played QB at LSU and went to the Orange Bowl in 1982? I JUST learned that for the 100th time when he was on with Mascona this week.

Nope. No problem with him then. I think he is knowledgable and offers insight...but I'm just tired of him telling us how good he was.

Does he talk about how great the center quarterback exchange was when he was at LSU?

I bet he forgot about that.

He's brought on the show because he has been there and can give first person insight to the listeners. If not, they could just pick any random chump off the street.

Gordy and Bowser were/are able to do this without everything being "well back in my day I did this".

I can say Alan Risher was a master at setting up beautiful, efficient screen passes.
