Depends on what you mean bythat good

If you mean not good at all, I don't feel that way.

If you mean not the #1 defense in the world #1 Offense in the world, Unbeatable machine than thats what i am pointing out.

They aren't the best offense we've faces and i don't think they are the best defense we have faced.

I am not sure they are the best of either on the same team.

Do you believe they are several orders of magnitude better than ANYONE ELSE WE'VE PLAYED? That seems to be the center of the discussion here.

I don't think their offense is better than Bama's and i Don't think their defense is better than UGA's

and they will scream "WELL UGA'S OFFENSE SUCKS AND ALABAMA'S DEFENSE SUCKS"

Well we scored 37 and benched our QB vs UGA and Alabama's offense only scored 34 points.

A stat that caught my attention is Clemson's offensive stats vs OSU. Leading rusher for Clemson - TL - 16 carries for 107 (Etienne was 10 carries for 36) Leading receiver for Clemson - Etienne - 3 catches for 98 yrds. No other receiver had over 50 yrds receiving. Does this mean that Clem found a way to win when their offensive game plan went to hell? Don't know what this means for the game on Monday but interesting.

It seems to me that it would indicate that OSU's LB's played like shite.

Etienne is really the only thing about Clemson that worries me. If he has a huge game he could keep them close, and he's got the speed to outrun our LB's and safeties. I hope we can get penetration and make plays at the line or behind the line.

Was looking at his game stats yesterday and observed that he tends to either get completely bottled up and shut down, or he goes off for 200 yards + however many receiving yards.

He’s averaged right at 8 YPC every year for 3 years. I don’t know how those numbers would translate to the SEC, but he’s definitely one of the top backs we’ve faced this year, maybe the best one.

That includes the 67yd run by TL.

That includes a 53yrd play by Etienne. Those two plays account for almost a third of Clemson's offense that entire game.

Not based on any metric besides shite like "heart" and playing against two different defenses last year.

Never said they weren't.

of their last 29 wins, i would say 27 are against teams no one on this earth would consider better.

Honestly I picked them last year.

He was moderately underestimated in high school because he didn't get an offer from two top programs until later in his recruiting process.

The slight.

Debatable, but I think Bama's offense is better than Clemson's. Bama scored 47 on AtM, Clemson only 24, and of course we put up 50.

Ok, but it won't make any difference. Jefferson will totally abuse Muse in the slot all night long. CEH will run wild if they try a 3 man line with 8 dropping to cover defense, because our oline will maul those guys.

Nahjee Harris is a more complete back. Etienne is just faster.

Which makes him a bigger home run threat than Najee

He's also much more elusive

Etienne is my biggest concern on offense

We saw what elite speed did to us w/ ole miss & bama

You mean a fourth. This is such a dumb argument. Big plays are part of football

I think some of these points can be debated except one, bama had one of the best WR corps I've ever seen. The entire depth chart was made up of some bad dudes.

Clemson has good WRs but they are no comparison. I think LSU is the only team with a similar set of play makers and our Secondary faces them all the time in practice.

Bama's offense is better, but Clemson's offense is plenty good enough to put up lots of points.

Was Etienne passed over bu LSU in recruiting (which might put a chip on his shoulder), was it the other way around?
