Don't know if germans- if so-sorry

It is actually aggy. Just aggy. Whether you mean it to be singular or plural, their hive-minded stupidity is denoted by the term aggy.
Please edit the title to say aggy has already started . . .

I'm sure they're overreacting to week 1 in much the same fashion as they did last year. Let them be excited. It will make the inevitable downfall that much more enjoyable.

I would be more worried about their shitty offense.
If it wasn't for the early PRTD, they are losing to ASU 14-10 in the 4th quarter.

Well Cjavis always had great third down numbers, so I am sure the stats will bear out that they are good on third.

..but in crunch time, when you need a stop, his passive defensive calls would give up 1st downs and let drives continue.

Hmm. Yeah, we wouldn't know anything about overreacting.

Multiple problems here:
1 - they started the thread two days ago
2 - we don't need to start threads here just because a&m fans started a thread on another board
3 - you don't even post a damn link
move the frick on buddy!

We didn't invent 3rd and Chavis...the Vols did.
When Chavis started out the gate for us, we pointed to the 3rd stats and said "see"
Tenn. fans said...wait for it.
====
Years later.
LSU fans facepalms..."3rd and Chavis"
Tenns. fans..."told ya"

But in crunch time he won us the vast majority of games in spite of an offense that never could get a game clinching first down

That is true of every defense. You saw the Giants carve up the Patriots in the first Super Bowl matchup? No one is going to tell me that Belichek can't coach. It's a function of human nature. When victory is within our grasp we tighten up.

True story.
I was in denial too right along with most of the rest of you.

They were finally were able to see what a defense looked like.

Somebody please explain this whole thing to Matt Moscona. He doesn't get that, and always does his queer voice trying to mock LSU fans saying third and Chavis.

surly you aren't surprised that they are being assholes. they stole Chavis and any time they play a good defensive game the jackasses are going to throw it up in our face and generally be obnoxious as hell.
it looks like Chavis has improved their defense. I remember how well Chavis worked out for us the first 3 years also. his weakness's caught up with him when he and Haley didn't restock the cubbard with front 7 guys. aggy has some damn good DL guys right now but they are weak at LB and secondary. by the time we play them our offense will frick 'em up.

No, you're a fan so you remember the bad moments more. His third down numbers are just as good as almost anyone's late. It so happens offenses are usually better when it counts.
The third and chavis thing is football ignorance by moron fans.

Chavis first game at LSU, Washington rolled up 478 yards of offense on LSU. 11-19 on third and Chavis. Of course Pelini had a similar problem in 05. 560 yards of offense by ASU and 9 of 17 on third down conversions.
