God forbid 19 YO kids joke around.

Yes it was a sloppy game and the team certainly didn't appear to be focused. It happens in college football. But we would have won the game with our 3rd and 4th running backs. This is awful journalism.

Lame article

It's definitely something that should be addressed, don't want to end up like the Texas Longhorns.

Fournette said this immediately after the game in his post-game interview. It was obvious, nothing really was "revealed." Fournette said that they didn't take last week seriously leading up to the game and that it won't happen again. Anything else that people take out of it are assumptions.

Which is the complete opposite of what Les Miles was on record of saying pregame.

Leonard Fournette is the leader now. Buga has spoken. The players and the coaches will like it.

What? A coach didn't admit to the media that his highly ranked team didn't practice as hard as possible for a cupcake team? No way. That Les sure is a one of a kind a-hole.

That is why these games should go away, either set real games each week or reduce the regular schedule and increase the number of playoff games, my choice

So you really think Les should've come out and said we aren't prepared to play?

Be thankful our much needed wake up call came in week 5 with a 4-0 record during a 22 pt victory. We have endured much worse. This quite possibly could be the best thing to happen all season relative to the back end of the season.

He looked that man in the eyes and lied LunchBox.

You really trust somebody after that?

I like how they let the players slap dick around this week on a rent a win, so now they can tighten the reigns.

If I were on the EMU team I would take " we don't take them seriously " statement as a pretty big slap in the face. You have to give it to EMU, they were on the good end of some pretty good licks in the game. They never laid down and were constantly swarming to the ball. They didn't look like the worst rushing defense in country to me that night.

Do you think Bama jokes around? Our 19 YO kids will be joking at home in December when Bama is playing in Atlanta and the playoffs. There is no room for joking around.

Funny, Bielema gets all kinds of kudos for encouraging his team, especially the QB, to loosen up and have fun.

Yeah, and I forget who has the most players in the NFL. I think Les Miles has had success letting these cupcake teams come out and hit our guys in the mouth.

If you've ever played football, you would know how hard it is to stay focused from week to week, and it's imperative to solidify focus and have it come from the players and the leaders on the team instead of making our guys scared robots with no initiative.

I don't know. We do pretty good in big games, so...
