I thought we'd be 10-2 with a win at Gumpville.
Didn't think Cam's affect would be so immediate.
Thought the D-line would be good.
Didn't think the D would be so bad.

I thought the LB corp would be a strength.
I thought CBs would be as good if not better.
I did worry about D-line play.
I thought Mett would pass for 3300 yds, 25 tds, with 7 ints.

I thought our defense would not miss everyone who left early.

I thought we would be finally able to humilate Alabama as payback for by shutting them out but I was wrong.

I never envisioned us fielding a defense that would make so few big plays/stops. I know our final defensive rankings are decent, but I just don't remember a lot of big picks, fumble recoveries, strip sacks, negative plays, timely third-down stops — all the good stuff we've grown accustomed to.

I was certain the lb corp. would be the strength of the defense. I couldn't have been more wrong.

I thought our defense would be better.

2 things I really didn't like was how long it took Chavis to pull some of the veterans for some of the younger/better players. White and Robinson stepped up this year. Jefferson even played well when in.

Second was just the overall technique by our CBs; mostly Mills. Go back to almost every play Mills got burnt and the defense is playing bump and run. Well if the CB does not jam the WR he's done. It happened over and over and over again. Mills almost never got hands on the WR.

I thought we were going to play Kentucky instead of UGA.

I thought the offense would be the same old bullshite. I thought the defensive line would be just fine.

Not a damn thing! I predicted 9-3 and a loss to ole miss and an appearance in the outback bowl! Nah that ain't true. I was wrong about 14-0 and Mett being a Heisman finalist. Ya know, this was an exciting season though. This was a fun 9-3 team. Outside of watching the I line quit in the Bama game, it was truly exciting. I know we hated losing to ole miss like we did, but they made a gutty effort to erase an awful start and had a chance in the end to win it! Ya, I was wrong. I must say that was a fun and exciting team to watch though! Geaux Tigers!!!

I didn't think OBJ/Landry would bring the 1-2 punch QUITE like they did. I though Quantavious would be more of a factor than he was. Or a factor at all.

Also thought our linebackers would be anywhere from solid to damn good. Also, expected a better, more consistent push from our front four.

Expected a LITTLE more out of our TE's on the receiving front, but I think that'll come next year once DeSean has a year plus spring under his belt.

I expected 2-3 losses, but I didn't expect one of the losses to come to Ole Miss coming in to the season and I especially thought we'd take that one with their injuries going into the game. As much as I fricking hate losing to those clowns - Oh well, shite happens.

All in all, I'd say I'm "happy" with this season. Not overly elated. I think we're gearing up for quite a 3-4 year stretch here and a big bowl win will help with that.

OBJ was wayyy better than I was expecting. Obviously, we all knew he had raw talent, speed and playmaking ability on special teams. He produced a lot more at WR than I expected

I didn't think the D would be quite as bad, and I didn't think the offense would be quite as good.

Didn't think we would lose to Ole Miss and UGA.

Didn't think we would beat down the aggies the way we did either.

Ole Miss being a win.

The secondary being good to great instead of shite to half-decent.

I didn't expect to get blown out by Bama, and I thought our defense wouldn't have fallen off as much as they did.
