I expected our defense to be its normal "damn strong" self and be able to shut people down.

Expected Mett to be much improved but never thought he would be this good.

the one thing i was wrong about was our defense not being that bad....they had a few good games but to me they looked terrible in most....if we had the mediocre offense we have had the past 5 years...the season would of been a lot uglier

I expected great things from our 2 starting DT's.

Also thought depth was going to be the only issue on the d-line.

DE's were better than expected

I thought we would go 8-4. I was wrong about the A&M game.

After showing much LES and getting blown out in the second half against "The Process", I thought we'd be flat against A+M and not win the game, more the less dominate them and shut down JFF.

BTW, we need an "Admit what you were right about in 2013 (LSU Football) thread. The season pretty much played out as I expected and what we all talked about over the summer and pre-season. The standard, typical and expected 2-3 loses, (one to a vastly inferior team) played out with the OL and DB's leading the way in terms of coaching and athlete negligence/incompetence. (I'm ready to see Mawae and Cooper back in Tiger Stadium again)

I was not surprised at all over what happened, but certainly disappointed never the less. I'm fed with the Tigers in High Protein Food Bowls, (Chicken and Steak) But you know, I've got that whole "Higher Standard of Excellence" thing going on that many on here don't.

Thought wed be fine at lb and dt. The d would be good enough for us to make a run.

I doubted improvement in the offense. I had been doped into believing the hype about "next years" offense for 4 straight years. I was in a "believe it when I see it" kinda mode. Pleasantly surprised. Also, I thought our defense would decline, but not near as much as it appeared.

Would not say "wrong" but very surprised by the development of Mett, Landry, and Beckham.

Only thing I was wrong on was Ole Miss... Predicted aTm win and potential losses to UGA and Bama. I actually called out Ole Miss as a trap game that week but I still thought we would win in a close one.

I was definitely wrong on Tredavious White. A couple of folks on here said prior to fall camp that he would jump Mills and Collins for starting job. I said they were crazy...

I thought Ronald Martin was good enough to take over for Reid and possibly make All-SEC, 1st Rd. pick.

I didn't think we'd see the drop-off against the running game (and the lack of pass rush from the front four).
