Admissions of a "Negatiger"

This is a thread for Negatigers to post the things that they like about this team. My intent is to show how realistic the Negatigers are and to show some love to the Positigers. We aren't blind to the positive but we are no longer blind to the negative either. I'll start...
-I like this teams defense. The Chief has done a great job of utilizing young talent to bring them along. I have noticed improvements from week to week and I think this defense will give us a chance to win every game on our schedule.
-I like the toughness of our O-line. Strud got hammered during the off season but the o-line is improved. They are tough and consistent opening holes for the run and solid protection for the pass.
-I like Ridley and Blue. They are performing on the field and I don't want to have a 5 back rotation. 2 is enough. Fix some fumbling problems here and there and these guys have been very solid.
-I like JJ's ball control.
-I like our special teams a lot. This may be the best we have been on special teams in years and we haven't really been bad on ST in a while. I feel confident on every punt return with PP back there.
Who's next...I'll leave some for the next Negatiger to give our team some props.

The Score was 12-7 after the 3rd quarter's first possession by MS State.
1. Field Goals are money.
2. PP is legit.
3. Defense is legit when not playing soft zone.

Thanks to Lonergan, Williford, Hurst and Ben Wilkerson.Wilkerson has been conducting individual drills with O-Line players.

Believe me...I have been the best of a Positiger at times. Les Miles lost me after Ole Miss last year. Don't get me wrong, I don't want him fired, I just want to see improvement. My first 3 bullets are improvements. I could go on...but this should be about the positives so I'll leave it at that. LM still has work to do for me to be a Positiger again. I can only hope.

you won't get many replies. Most of them refuse to say anything positive about the team because it might be misinterpreted as saying something positive about Miles.

miles leaves himself open for a lot of critisism. if were win 10 games much of that will subside; if not? well, maybe he deserves it. having the oopen mind is what i like. not EVERYTHING is his fault and some posters turn everything into an anti miles diatribe. i think that's what pisses a lot of other people off. legitimate, thought out discussion and critisism doesn't piss me off at all. name calling, whining and demanding ones own way, well that is what many view the negatigers as. maybe ya'll should police your ranks (that is, unless you join us; the positigers)

You won't get replies because anyone who does gets to be branded a "negatiger." Maybe just title your thread "rational discussion of the state of LSU's football team." See if that helps.

And 7 plays and 3 minutes later it was 19-7 after JJ accounted for 54 of a 60 yd TD drive.

I'm no Negatiger. But we have no passing game I mean it is pathetic. 180 yards in two games against the bottom half of the SEC we are in trouble my friends. How will we back off teams like Florida, Bama, and even Auburn.

It does not surprise me to hear that Wilkerson is doing individual drills with Lonergan, Williford & Hurst to try & improve the OL. Just hope Barksdale & Josh D., maybe Branch, also get some work in this area. I feel much better about this, since I have no faith at all in Coach Stud. Wilkerson will help them improve technique!

I'll admit that it seems like the best players are playing. I've criticized Miles for years over not playing the best players.
Seeing kids like Mathieu, Loston, Lonergan, etc. playing a good bit more than older players at their same position.

The way to beat LSU is to load up on the run and make them pass. Not hard to figure out.

I love the Defense. I like that Jared Lee has held on even though I said I would have faked an injury and then transfered to JUCO! I like the attitude RS has and the effort Jefferson gave in the game. I love Jasper. I even like Chavis though I had my doubts last year. He really inspires the defense to be monsterous.
