According to the announcers, KY wasn't trying that hard

Whatever. I got tired of hearing them say that Calipari couldn't get the Harrison twins to play harder. Pissed me off. Give LSU credit for making KY play soft.

Sounds like Alabama and Auburn fans after their bowl games.

They gave LSU tons of credit. They kept saying how they don't think anyone could come in and beat us tonight, and even something along the lines of "Most teams would have lost by 20."

They were saying that KY came out flat, which is a sound observation.

To their credit I agree completely. They looked like we did against Tennessee

Kentucky still looked good, but J.O.B. played to his potential as did the talented freshmen. Good RPI win, especially for those who went.

They said that after the game was over. During the game they said KY wasn't giving enough effort.

Why do LSU fans think that every fricking thing said is a shot at LSU?

Dakich was extremely annoying. He kept complaining about how KY was playing. He kept talking as if he was coaching them up. Very bad analyst IMO.

Dude, I'm just stating a fact. Even for the last 15 seconds the announcer was shocked that KY just let us run the clock out. It was odd to me too but LSU made them boys look bad and like they weren't trying.

The Harrisons rolled over as soon as LSU came out to play. That's who they are and who they will always be. Randle has a bit of that in him too, but he might still be fixable.

Everyone watching the game should've been shocked

The twins were just standing around a lot. There's nothing wrong with an announcer pointing that out.

Both of them praised LSU and Jones all night.

I don't see how Kentucky giving low effort is a slight on LSU. It's not like LSU can control how much effort Kentucky gives.

I think it's safe to say that Kentucky is more talented than LSU, but talent isn't the only thing that contributes to wins.

Or maybe it's the semantics that bother some of y'all... Only saying "Kentucky didn't play hard" instead of only saying "LSU played hard." When you stop caring what the media says, you'll enjoy sports a lot more.

Well, no shite! 15 second is a long fricking time to let run out in a five point game with us shooting 55% from the line.

The majority of the people on here are cry babies when it comes to LSU. It's always the refs or commentators fault that LSU doesn't get respect. They remind me of John Harbough when they start crying about how the game is called.

I heard a pretty good amt of praise for LSU's play, esp Hickey, Mickey and JOB. and it seemed like when they said UK wasn't playing hard, they'd give LSU credit for "competing".

Sorry but I completely disagree. He stated fact that several of the UK players were not giving effort and praised LSU for their energy, hustle, etc. I thought it was refreshing to hear an announcer call it like he saw it. Most of the time all these guys do is heap praise on prima donnas. Do you think you'd ever hear Vitale say stuff like that? In no way did I take it as a slight to the way LSU played. In fact, the Tigers played with a lot of heart and grit and that helped to make it pretty obvious which team wanted it more.

I was surprised how poor conditioned Randle was. He only seemed to try on offense and couldn't play more that 5 minutes at a time with getting pulled because he was so winded.

I sat near what by the way they were acting to have been the Harrison's family members. They were extremely upset with their poor play. They pleaded to them the entire game to play harder.

They said during the game that LSU was competing and KY was just playing basketball.

Sounds like a difference to me.

According to that tool that Nessler was teamed up with.

Nessler always gives LSU props but I get what you're saying. That other dude kept talking about the Harrison twins and at the end of the game he lost his mind when Kentucky wouldn't foul.

Anyway, we won.
