Pretty strong, even though its against the Reds garbage lineup.

That is an understatement. 4 hits and 1 earned run in 7 innings is good stuff! Well beyond "pretty" strong. I'd save really strong.

He gets no run support there. I remember in his MLB debut he gave up only 1 run and still got the loss.

This is one of the reasons that when I first start talking baseball with someone at work (lots of dumb Cards fans), I try to ask questions that give me an indication on how much value they put on pitcher wins as a stat.

That tells me whether or not I will talk baseball with them ever again.

Last night his avg fastball was 89. As the season moves on he will sit 90-92
