Stubhub has them for $212 up. I wanted to go to that game because I live in Houston but it would cost me about $900 for a family of 4. I'd do better going to BR for a game.

A&M charges a lot for tickets to offset the fact that they sell 30,000 seats (including prime seating) to students.

i bet they can be found for cheaper before the game.

No chance

A&M is having to give more seats to the visiting team than what was done in the past due to SEC rules.

A limited number of season ticket holders are losing their seats.

Don't think that you will drive to College Station on gameday and pick up tickets at or below face.

FWIW I paid $75 last year for the Kansas game to sit with the KU families. It wasn't a very good view either.

2. ou is right next door
3. LSU is running shite now
4. what recruit would chose to go to cult land when he has offers to normal schools

I have seen this mentioned a couple of times... Does anyone know any specifics on this?

A&M has stopped offering "discount" season ticket packages that did not require an annual membership to our booster club (the 12th Man Foundation). Folks who had their seats discontinued either paid the higher prices plus donation or they lost their seats.

As far as SEC seat allotments, it is between each conference member to broker tickets between themselves ... the relative proximity of LSU and A&M means that the ticket offering will probably be around 6k-7k seats at each venue. (In the Big XII, average ticket offering was 2k or so ...)

Is this the correct amount that a SEC school is supposed to offer it's opponent?

What is the rule?

Aren't all away game ticket prices the same for students as everyone else?

400 bucks for family of 4 to get into a football game.
Yeah that's what I'd call cool.

The SEC Rule, as told to us newbies this year, is that it is up to each member school to negotiate its ticket allotments with other members.

Which is why A&M and LSU agreed to a larger number of tickets than A&M and Mizzou.

Oh, and our College Station hotels sold out the day that the SEC schedule was announced.
