Well since you asked:

If I were LSU I would make Jimbo say no. Sell it as competing in the best conference against the best coaches. He is #1 on the list by quite a margin.

After that Jim Mora, Jr. Basically same sales job.

Then it's

Briles
Patterson

There are others like Rich Rod. I think he would kill with the talent in LA.

After that I would look at but gotta investigate and be convinced "reclamation projects" like Butch Davis. Davis can recruit and coach. But would have to explain the grade scandal at UNC and prove he had fire to coach at too level.

Petrino is another. True douche for Atlanta and Arky. Has he been humbled? Has he learned. Did he grow from those experiences? Again show me and he would be on my list. He is an offensive mind that I believe would find uses for local LA talent.

Kiffin kinda same deal. He is much lower on my list and I think needs a bit more growth and humility.

People will hate this but I think Muschamp will be a very good coach one day. Too soon for another big job like at LSU today. But I don't think UF will be his true legacy as a coach.

After that Cam Cameron should get a look IF he can explain how the O would be different.

Kirby Smart is another.

It's not easy to find the right guy. But not impossible either. Freeze came out of nowhere to get a turn around started.

It can happen. The question is can Les adapt and put just a decent passing attack on the field. If so no reason to look to replace. But if he believes that our issues are just execution and not philosophy/scheme it has to at least be contemplated.

says the man that is getting ready to start his 11pm to 7am shift at 7-11....lol...I always love the buffoon one....the guy has been more successful and made more money than you could possibly ever dream of, while also being a good guy and being highly educated. Yet, he is a buffoon.......right....

I want him gone, but a buffoon he is not.

Everybody wants CHUCKIE who won it all at Tampa Bay and was on a roll at OAKLAND until the refs and the rules caught up with him in that snowy playground when Bradys arm was not going forward. CHUCKIE is the shite. Would he want to come to LSU? Who knows.

You must not be thinking clearly.

You think Miles and Cameron just need to change one thing to improve the offense? I'll give you that Chavis probably only had to insert Beckwith, but the offensive issues are plentiful.

Let me explain.

You had 5 (FIVE) skill position players last year that started and starred today in the NFL that were in their system for two seasons and a Spring, and we could not lose less than 3 games.

Think about that for just a second.

Joe Paterno

My real answer is Gruden obviously, followed by some relatively unknown, but great, offensive coordinator.

See, that thinking would be the worst thing that could happen. Change, for change sake, would do much more damage to the program than anything Les could do over the next 3-years.

The next hire would be extremely important, Hell, looking at recent history, ask Bama how important new hires are, they sucked for 10-years before getting Saban.

Rummy, Im going to throw out names who I think could do a lot better than Miles and who I think would be willing to listen: Jim Mora Jr., Rich Rod, Todd Graham, Gary Patterson, Jim Mcelwain, Kirby Smart, James Franklin. All of which contrary to Miles pumpers could and would do a helluva lot better than the Miles faction.
