LSU won't get rid of Miles this year anyway, it would take another sub par year

I don't think Graham goes anywhere, and that's not a biased ASU alumnus opinion. And, quite honestly, I don't think Graham is what LSU needs, though it would fit the replacement model, as he's a tougher, more strict coach. It would almost be another Saban...

Patterson might be good... But he would have to bring either, or both of the OC's.

Do not want Smart. He's ridden Saban's little coat-tails, and is nowhere ready for a program like LSU.

Franklin would be a failed hire - like Hallman.

Mora Jr. would be great, but he's a West Coast guy, so who knows.

I would be interested in Briles, provided he kept Chief, or brought-on another high quality DC.

Jimbo Fisher

Familiar with LSU's system, knows the ins and outs of SEC, successful HC who won a NC, liked it here, amazing recruiter, QB developer. All the ingredients that are perfect at LSU. Throw whatever money it takes to get him here.

Doesn't matter.

If you were to say firing Miles will likely result in a merry go round of coaches for years to come until we find the right one - I would agree.

But that's going to happen regardless of when we fire Miles - and Miles is NOT going to bring us any more titles. SEC or National. SO WE MAY AS WELL GET ON WITH IT. Its sad. He is LSU's most successful coach ever. But I'd rather see him get carried out of the stadium his last game as a hero than sacked midway through a season and leave in disgrace.

You're right, because we've been through so many coaches since Saban left...

Before Miles was hired, how many people would've named Miles?

Before Saban was hired, how many would've listed him?

This stupid question is.........well......stupid.

My first unabashed and dream pick, Jim Harbaugh and give him a blank check. Dude single handedly turned around Stanford.

Second choice is Mullen, he would wreck shop here.

I don't think anyone would have opposed Saban, everyone who followed college football knew who Saban was and he was already on NFL radars.

You don't comprehend the point? I'm sorry. Let me dumb it down for you.

When Dinardo was fired, I was online. Literally not a soul guessed Saban. When he got hired, it was fricking totally out of the blue.

When Saban left, very few anticipated or would've guessed Miles getting hired.

The point is, people act like guys like Harbaugh or something are the only guys we should consider if we're going to fire a guy like Miles.

That's stupid. The fact that we can't name the next guy doesn't mean the current guy isn't on the decline.

Well Bill Callahan was successful (brought a team to the SB) Mike Sherman had success in the NFL but failed at Texas A&M, Dennis Erickson has had some success in NFL (a few .500 seasons) but was mostly a failure.

They sure don't Paige but there is certainly no harm in asking right?

Alabama wouldn't have Saban if they didn't at least ask, and aim high.

The one thing I like about les is he never throws a fit on the sidelines slinging his headset and cussing players out

Unlike some coaches
