I didn’t catch your thread, but very likely if you experienced the same sentiment. It was on a level I had never experienced in my years around the school and athletics. I don’t think people fully understand or grasp the political climate at LSU. It’s deeper than football is really the only way I can describe it. Deeply rooted philosophical differences I would say.

That may be a reach, but at the very least LSU graduates should be on LSU boards. Seems pretty simple to me. The goal for me is to limit outside influence as much as possible moving forward.

I thought JBE was a huge pro-LSU supporter?

There is also way too many 4 year universities in the state relative to the population,

The people here blaming JBE are completely divorced from reality. The vast majority of cuts to LSU and other schools came under Jindal. JBE would love to give them more money, but the legislature neither wants to raise the funds or make the hard cuts (e.g. closing small under-performing campuses) necessary to do so.

My point made...there are too many 4 year universities relative to the population.

While you were ridiculing the post, I would say that's a fairly accurate assessment. Our current team is weak at all levels:

Governor Turtle
Shyster BOS Appointees
FKIng
JA
Coach 0

And the only possible change to this in the near term is replacing 0 and he's actually the least of our problems off that list

Speaking of expectations, it would be nice if you could string together a coherent sentence that used the appropriate punctuation.

If I wanted you to read it, I would have copied and pasted what I was responding to from you. I didn't realize I needed to make sure I do that as part of board etiquette. I specifically review my posts for replies. No other reason. You could do the same or just research a little and see what I was replying to. Either way I don't give two shits about what you think.

So, what happens down the road when the stands are empty? Whose job goes first?
I love LSU but I hate Louisiana.

son, texas has a lot going for it; 26 million people and a lot of oil INSIDE the state borders. but if you think tejas politics is ANY better than La. politics I feel sorry for you. you may have lived here for 9 years but you are blind as bat shite.

the only way to get a fair shake in tejas is to bring wheelbarrels of money to Austin. it is not only well known that the legislature is for sale there is no shame, zero, attached to it. ever wonder why you can't buy a sandwich and micro beer in texas, a tesla? did you know that southwest area couldn't even use the new airports in Houston and dallas for decades? did you know that, not that long ago banks not hq'ed in tejas or insurance companies not hq'ed in texas could not sell their products in the state?

bud, the difference between the politics in Louisiana and Texas is the degree. I have to admit, the crooks over here make the La. crooks look small time. you are merely buying into the bull shite the crooked political folk here want you to buy into. ie, you are a tool. they love you for it.

The only effective way is to boycott fb and TAF. Then there should be heads rolling and changes.
