LSU has 3rd highest win rate during CLM's tenure. Stassen Assuming Coach Miles retires around 2020 or so do you think:
1. He will guide LSU past UGA and UT in SEC championships?
2. Finish around the rare mark of 75% or around the rarer mark of 80% (for long term coaches)? I'm optimistic it won't drift down towards 70%
3. Finish with winning record against nationally perceived gurus Saban, Spurrier, Meyer (if matchup in bowl/regular season game) and Petrino (if rehired and matchup in bowl/regular season game)?

IMO
1. Yes
2. around 77%
3. Saban - yes 5 - 4
...Spurrier - yes 4 - 0
...Meyer - yes 4 - 3
...Petrino - no more matchups. 2 - 2

Hoping for a sweep.

Yes they are. From first question "...do you think:..."
then three questions. This shouldn't be difficult to grasp.

I don't know what FFS means.

Never mind, looked it up. I suppose in keeping with some of the faithful at TigerRant a '3 reasons why CLM sucks' thread would have been more appropriate.

I've been accused of being a homer and of being a 'poser' (fake fan?), meh. Like the 82% answer, that would be remarkable.

true...most likely.

the thing is.....he's about there right now....going on his 8th year. and there's still LSU "fans" that want him out.....and others around the conference that dont want to admit he's a great coach. I guess once he's embarrassed you...you get a bit sour.

This is actually a good thing, in a selfish way. He turned down Michigan twice and if he were to go anywhere this would be the first spot. Due to perception I doubt the NFL will come knocking. Consequently I just assume 2020 or so before club has to hopefully make a HC choice that will keep what Saban started going.

I am a total homer! But sometimes I criticize Les for some of his bone headed decisions!

I know Miles inherited a Ferrari, but it is still amazing to me how much criticism Miles gets given how awesome LSU has been since 2005.

In reality, LSU is the winningest program in college football since 2005 (because we're not comparing apples with apples with TCU and Boise because of their much-weaker schedules during that span.

That's a good question...by 2020? I'll say this, 2012 is a tremendous opportunity. You would think beyond this there will be some more legitimate opportunities. Since it's a prediction thread, I'm going to go with 2 more by (and including) 2020.

I will offer some guesses to all that.

percentage will be over 70.

not going to go until 2020. 5 years.

one more national championship.

remember 2014 will give us a 4 team playoff. its going to be much harder to win a natty after that.

College/SEC football mentally challenged types want him out.

Anyone who suffered with LSU during the up and down, more less than mediocre, years from 75 to 2001 should be crazy for Coach Miles. imo
