I really think we need a 10 win season again. I think this team has aspirations for more than even that though this year.

No. LSU will either bottom out again this year or play for the SEC Title. There is no in between for 2015.

Going 9-3 in this division other than possibly thePac12 South is like going 11-1 elsewhere. it will be difficult for anyone to go 9-3 in this division. I hate to admit it but 10-3 with a bowl victory would at least shut up all this QB negativity surrounding the program, so yea I'd probably reluctantly accept it.

You said you'll take "anything" better than 8-5.

9-4 is better than 8-5, which would apparently be perfectly acceptable to you.

Hence the barrage of downvotes.

Anybody who says yes might as well pack up their gear and go root for Tulane.

But we have some big issues, and if they don't get worked out, we could see a repeat of last year. I just don't know why people can't open their eyes to this reality.

Because you just can't get through to some people... This team is NOT a 10-2 11-1 team.. A ton of luck would have to occur for this to happen............. Yet 9-3 is a step in the right direction............. So yes I would take it.....

No. There is no excuse for this team to not win 10 games. The inexperience isn't an excuse this year. The only reason I can see us losing 3-4 games is if we have 2-3 season ending injuries on the dline. A good dline can mask a bad - average secondary but the opposite is also correct. A bad dline can kill a great secondary. Even the best cbs on the planet can only cover for so long.

I think a large part of it depends on the play we get from the QB position. It has to be an improvement from last year.

We play 3 Top 25 teams on the road. I'd probably take 2 & 1 right now.

I told my brother a couple of nights ago, get back to me after the Auburn game. If we're 3 & 0 and getting solid QB play I like our chances to have a damn good year.

If not 13-1 or 12-2, I'd rather have 7-6 so we would have cause to stir the winds of change. 9-3 is Meh and just buys more time. Hello Jimbo.

I agree. Great season or absolute failure and HELLO Gary Patterson! 9-3 or 8-4 is another frustrating underachievement and Miles would still have his job

No. Thats a slight improvement on last year and is pretty much mediocre. It is a downyear for top flight programs. Les's first couple years here, 9-3 was a down year. I like when 9-3 is a down year. And it keeps miles' job for him longer. I prefer either 11-1 or 7-6. Lets get to the playoffs or let les go.
