Chris Jackson was more dominant than anyone on that list outside of Pete Maravich.

LSU should be 1, 2, 3 on the list. It's sad to think the type of basketball tradition we have and the lack of committment by the Athletic Dept to making that program competitive on a national level.

The only reason CJ is that low is because of the off the court nonsense in the NBA. You could argue he left early, but I don't see that hurting Shaq.

Shaq played 3 years, CJ played 2. Also, CJ was never National POY.

Of that list, yes you can say that is impressive that LSU has maybe top 3 players...but to me the impressive thing is that Arkansas has 3 guys on that list in less than 20 years in conference and even though the 2 from LSU played on same team they didnt win a NC (THANKS DALE) I still say Bob Knight was correct in his assesment of Borwn's coaching ability.

What about Dominique Wilkins? I don't know much about his college career, but I would have to imagine he was better than some on this list.

What was the name of the big Florida center with the mullet in the early 90s?

Can't believe that dude did not make the list.

Dwayne Schintzius.

Also, Chris Jackson is the best SEC player since Maravich. If he would have stayed for four years, he might be No.1.

Top 3 should be: Maravich, Jackson, O'Neal.

Jackson was great, but he played only 2 years and never won a National POY award. He should be behind Shaq and I have no problem where he is listed.

Well just LINK if Tyrus Thomas, Gregg Cook, Ethan Martin, Apple Sanders, Don Redden, Ricky Blanton, etc. ranked lower than Joe Dean at 75?

Outside of Maravich, O'Neal, Pettit, and Barkley it's a pretty weak list, IMO.

I think other conferences would slay that one.

ucla alone could make a list of 75 players that would be more impressive than that.
