I think we all agree that it’s very very unlikely, but let’s just set likelihood aside. How can we do it?

I’ll go with this:
-win 2 against A&M at home
-win 2 against Bama
-sweep Ole Miss at home

We can’t sweep the worst team in the conference at home. What are the chances of beating the #1 team in the country?

Not a chance. This team just isn’t that good. Believe post season chances died today. Unless they win SEC tourney.

Nah.

I had a glimmer of hope last night was what this team needed to turn it around.

Fool’s gold. This team is done for the year.

If you had just swept the two weakest teams like you had the opportunity to do so the past two weeks you wouldn’t need 7 wins out of 9 games…

The sweep had to come one of these past 2 weekends. It was already unlikely but now the chances are far slimmer. The sunshine pumpers will circle jerk to another series win but deep down even they know it wasn’t enough

A&M probably sweeps.
Will be lucky to go 3-6 in the last 9 games. This is the worse LSU baseball team since Skip was hired. Embarassing.

This team pulling that off would be the biggest twist I’ve seen in LSU athletics in a very long time.

About every great team has a wtf series so we are going to need the baseball gods to gift us a lot to win two against Aggie

He should have gone all the way and called for a sweep of the Aggies.

You nailed it. Another Powerball retirement courtesy of Fat Boy may happen after next season.

No way this team goes 7-2. You need to accept this.

That is highly improbable. I think you would’ve figured it out since we couldn't sweep today. CJJ will likely go from winning the national championship, to not making the SEC Tournament. His honeymoon will be long over. Next year will be tell us if he can bring the program back to the LSU standard
