Does LSU score 14 points on Bama in 2019? Assuming Burrow is still the starter, do we have at least 1 passing TD against them or do we lay another egg?

We've got to completely overhaul the offense and change our entire mindset and outlook toward offense in order to start being competitive on offense again.

I know, I know, move on. I am moving on for the most part, but getting beat 29-0 in Tiger Stadium at night is hard to accept. Two shutouts in a row by Bama in Tiger Stadium at night is even harder.

What is the answer? Let's assume E is still coaching -- what would you have him change?

History will repeat itself if E is coach next year. That’s why none of us wanted him back and were pissed when Canada was terminated. Canada put up good numbers on them last year. Just didn’t make some of the passes that were schemed Open.

If SE is still our OC, I would bet my house that we score less than 14, probably closer to 0, next year.

Yes. This is what O promised. What we got is an offense that is statistically, in every category, the worst we've had in the last 11 years.

I think the offense has a chance to be really good next year especially if we get emery. OL is only losing bruiser who should be replaced by someone that can match his talent level with guys like kardell thomas and chasen hines. you lose foster moreau who hopefully will be replaced by moss if he can get healthy and he'll be much more useful in the passing game than 18 has been. brossette leaves and will be replaced by CEH who I think has already surpassed nick as a back and if emery comes to BR then we can get back to the days when we were dominant running the football. Burrow will just have a full year under his belt with a full offseason with the team. I'm thinking he could have a mettenberger type of improvementfrom this year to 2019. Not saying that he'll be that good, but who knows.

I'd be interested to see the cumulative score for other SEC coaches over the same time frame. I'll bet it's not much better for anyone else.

Match his Talent?
What talent level is that?
Sun Belt or SWAC level?
What talent above and beyond what's already there does Thomas and Hines bring to the table?
More of the same "Traore the OL Savior" BS nonsense?

I get that this is bad......yes. 63-10 is bad.

So. I looked at other teams that have already played Bama this year. Only 3 common for 3 years.

Ole Miss - 176-53
Arky 155 - 70

Only A&M has a respectable line...........a team which humorously, WE BEAT in 2016 & 2017

I'm sure you'll point out that Ole Miss and Arky scored more than we have.........but they faced 2nd stringers for a LOT of time in their 3 games.
And, in any case. I'm not really sure any of us would be happier with 176-53

Since 2016 these are the totals (Opponent score - Alabama score):

Ole Miss - 53-176
Tennessee - 38-159
Arkansas - 70-155
A&M - 56-105

The following are based only on 2016 & 17 since the games haven't been played yet this year.

Ms State - 27-82
Auburn - 38-44

“ we were shut out by worst”

Really? You going to go back over 15 years and into a time when LSU football was trying to recover from our worst period in our history to try and make this embarrassment smell better?

We have the chance to have a better record this year than we had last year and that’s a positive thing, but that doesn’t negate the fact we were completely throttled Sat. Night and have an O not a bit better than what we’ve had in the past.

29-0 to me is unacceptable. No great coach in his 2.5 year gets beat like this. In my opinion a fresh start means replace Alleva, Orgeron, and Ensminger. They may aspire to greatness, but are incapable of achieving it.

Why are we hoping that Freshmen will have to come in and help us? SEC competent trained freshmen should have been the reload when Clapp and Weathersby went pro. Losing those 2 hurt us a lot.

You shouldn't be recruiting for next year. I think you need to recruit for the year after. Maybe they're trying and just can't do it. Orgeron is supposed to be a great recruiter. I don't see it.
