It's BS. We have youth at some spots. We here the "LSU is playing 15 or 20 freshmen" OK, not at one time. This accounts for players rotating in, players on special teams, players who come in for 1 or 2 plays. They make it sound like we are starting 20 freshmen.

It's just the latest long running excuse.

People keep screaming 20 freshman but they aren't playing all at once

Exactly - just a nonsense excuse. Other teams start freaking freshman at QB or LT and the world does not fall apart.

Shhhhhhh!!!
Cupboards are bare, no talent from 4 straight top 5 classes, no championships expected from this untalented young bunch.

The funny thing is.. we returned the most starters in the SEC last year. And they lost 4.. Although all of them combined for less points than the 30 MSU thumped us for.

and that's why Les was fired. And if people think we're young this year, wait until next year when we lose our 5th year QB, Guice, Williams, Lacouture, Key, Chark, Gage, Malone, Moore, Gilmore, Thompson, Alexander, Battle, Herron, Paris, and possibly even Toliver.

I'm pretty sure that the young monicker is given for players starting and not players on the roster.

We've played nearly every true freshman, starting a large number of them.

That's the definition of young. It's not who is on the team - it's who is playing.

We're starting very young players at positions like offensive guard, cornerback, etc.

That's young.

Which means he wasn't good enough to leave after 3 or 4 years.

I count 29 Scholarship Seniors and Juniors. That includes Fehoko. The transfer.

That's 34% of our 85.

So 66% of our roster are Sophomores, and Freshman.

Every single LSU sport, the "we are young" card is played. Every college and university bring in new high school recruits each season.

Alabama doesn't have a problem.

fricking excuses. All it is...
