We did a lot of things wrong last night. There will be A LOT to breakdown. BUT, they played with a lot of heart, and sometimes heart is enough to win. This was a big win for a lot of reasons. It showed that we can still beat good teams, we have a lot of talent still left on the roster who can be a strong team next season and all hope is not lost. Go out and win against Ole Miss, finish 5-5 and get ready for 2021.

I agree with most of your post. Only problem I have is that last timeout Orgeron used. UF shouldn't even have time to attempt that last fg.

If Florida db had not thrown the shoe we lose. No need to analyze anything else.

Is anyone going to mention Cade York’s 57-yard field goal?

He is the best player on the team at a position probably. Of course but in general as a team. We knew he had that. In the fog 57yds is bad arse.

Such a dumb response. If Ricks doesn’t get a pick six, we lose. If we don’t get a freak pinball interception, we lose. If Trask doesn’t fumble in his own territory with 10 seconds left in the half, we lose. If a lot of things happen or don’t happen, we lose. But, hey, let’s not analyze anything on the Tiger Rant because a whole bunch of shite happened that, if that shite hadn’t happen, we would’ve lost.

This!!!

3. Opt outs, injuries, and quitters put young, hungry guys in a position to go out and prove themselves, and they played hungry. The guys on the field looked like they wanted to be there. They played with pride. Hell, I was proud just watching them.

1. Max Johnson played with guts

Really impressed with him for his first start. Wish he'd slide or throw it away more though.

2. The Defense

They bent, but didn't completely break. Three straight 3-and-outs in the 2nd half against this Florida offense would've been unthinkable before last night.

Blackledge alluded to this at the end of the 1st half. I think it has some merit.

4. Our Coaches outcoached UF’s Coaches.

Absolutely. Grantham's defense looked straight-up confused at times.

2. The Defense, while getting torched, played with more toughness and intensity than they have all year, and it paid off in creating turnovers. I believe that turnovers are predominately the result of effort. Our Defense gave up a lot, but they played with more effort than any game this season

They also played pretty well in the red zone. Especially relative to how they’ve played previously

Our defense is light years better inside the 20 than it is between the 20’s. Not having to defend deep definitely helps this defense and they become pretty stout. Jay Ward had a pretty good game. I think I was most pleased with his performance.

Luck and making the right plays at the right time.

The strip sack right before half time.

The helmet tip drill with a player that mad his foot less than an inch above out of bounds.

The shoe.

LSU played their asses off and came away with the W. It's weird to be on underdog side if things.
