Some of y'all are crazy.

Did we start slow? Yes
Do we have areas in which to improve? Yes

But Jesus. Last week everyone had a hard on for this team. This week y'all are ashamed of them like some black sheep step child.

Not every game is lights out, automatic, 50 to 0, xbox mode.

They're young. They're humans.

But seriously. Imagine being a player or a recruit reading this and seeing fans blasting you and picking you apart on a 31-0 win. 31-0.

31-0.

........ 31-0

Should take it as a win and move on

The rant gonna rant...it is quite the insufferable place after low scoring blowouts, what looks like an offense they would call in practice and a defense that holds an offense scoreless for the second week in a row.

Complaints not equal to concerns! We as fans just see things that we would like it improved. I'm just concerned with the play calling on offense and who is really doing it . Next week we start the SEC that's when the complaining starts . its called the rant for a reason!

I definitely walked away from this game with more concern than relief. If that is complaining then I guess I am a complainer.

Very young team. Whoever didn't expect a couple of games where the offense wasn't just on fire is not very smart.

Defense stepped up their play.

It is nice to see the LSU football program reach a point where a 31-0 beating isn't good enough for delusional fans. I will take delusional fans over a 6 win season any day.

No complaints here wedid what we needed to . Theres no reason to show our offense off yet . Conservative play calling its called strategy. When the sec starts plays will change.

Our fans are miserable human beings...we executed our game plan to perfection...slowly grind away, nothing fancy, and pile it on in the 2nd half.

the defense played very good against an inferior opponent

the offense did not appear to play very good (albeit scoring 31 points) against an inferior opponent

Les Miles has shown that he is content to win 7 to 6 games and play really conservative offense, whether against the No. 1 team in the nation, or the 100th team in the nation

those seem like facts, whether viewed as criticisms, or not

I am not complaining.

ULM came for more than a game check. Their defense was solid and in an effort to stay as vanilla as possible, LSU struggled in the 1st half on offense. Lack of depth for ULM and a little more imagination helped LSU move the ball in the second half.

LSU's defense was nasty.

I am not complaining. I am concerned about our primary blockers. The OL,TEs, and FBs are NOT Young and were an assumed strength of the offense. These undersized 3-4 defenses are giving them fits.

I saw a good post on here last night where someone said that we were lining up with only 1 wide out, which caused the D to stack the box against us. If that is the case, it makes the O-Line look mediocre, but not indicative of the truth. That may be an intentional plan to not tip our hand, and is easily corrected. However, I don't think D's have respected our ability to move the ball through the air. It will come down to how 2 dimensional an offense we have. Pass blocking is a concern however. And yes we are a young team, and offensive improvement will be needed to compete with the big guys.

1.) Y'all make this out to be as though it happens with LSU fans, and ONLY LSU fans.

2.) Some of us understand a deeper level of what's going on other than the score. There are deficiencies on this team for sure. Not ready to push the panic button on the season, but also not going to approach this thing like a football-ignorant twit who knows nothing about the sport other than what the scoreboard reads and what the record books show.

3.) Critical thinking is not the same thing as complaining. Maybe we should approach this like a yearly review for a thin skinned employee. We can start out with all the good things that happened so when we talk about the things that need to be worked on, nobody's feelings get hurt.

And you just admitted we have areas that need improvement. Pretty sure that is what people are concerned about.

Lsu's fanbase is the most spoiled in the country... And its NOT even close... They want perfection EVERY game... Sometimes I am ashamed to be an LSU fan because of some of these fans.....

LSU is loaded, and ready to rock-and-roll these nest few years. This year might have a few blips, but only an idiot wouldn't be excited about the direction of this current LSU program.

Hell, we may even pull off 11+ wins THIS year if we get a break here and there. This is one of the best, most capable rosters of players AND Coaches that we have ever had at LSU.

It is a very exciting time to be an LSU fan, and that's saying something coming from the nation's winningest program over the last 10 years. Think about this: LSU, already established as One of the elite SEC and national programs, has upgraded itself in many ways (Cam, overall offensive talent, LB, etc). That's really exciting IMO. We really didn't have much room to go up, as we were already practically on "top" long-term speaking, but I think we have moved up a bit and the only thing that we haven't gotten these last few years is a national title, and I feel confident we are now set to grab another one of those within 2-3 years.
