Bregman or Swanson will win. Clearly the two best players in the country.

If Maurepas incarnate keeps swinging that type of stick, he'll be tough to beat. I imagine he continues to cool, though, and one of those two takes it.

Its Bregmans to lose imo. He plays SS and bats third on a top 5 team. Hes struck out 6 times and has 1 error. Just absurd numbers and looking at his babip shows hes been pretty unlucky at the plate.

Agree on all accounts. To counter, Marepas incarnate is swinging a scalding bat, he plays catcher most every day, has played plus if not elite defense, and if he continues to hit in this stratosphere, he will have been lucky but that lucky production would be very impressive and show up in his every day stats, not just advanced stats such as BABIP.

Hes been outstanding
His production has far surpassed what I thought he was capable of going into the season. That HBP appears to be the only thing that was able to slow him down this season. Remarkable stuff. I don't think it would be a stretch to say that his game was the greatest beneficiary of the new balls.

Doesn't he have 0 passed balls on the year? I swear I heard Canni say that in a radio interview last week.

I believe he tried to catch a runner napping at first and his throw over got away from Chinea/Zardon/Hale

Looking through the box scores, it happened during game 2 against Ole Miss, when we lost in extra innings. I missed most of that game though, so I can't say what exactly happened.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say him only having one error is more impressive than Bregs having one.

He only committed one last year too. So basically, unless he holds serve, he will be worse this year.
