People forget that LSU's never been able to play defense under Johnny Jones. They've always had horrendous interior d and the perimeter d hasn't been good either. Johnny's never emphasized defense and it's been clear over his years here. His teams have always had enough talent to overcome that but this team doesn't have the pieces and the wheels have fallen off defensively.

Exactly.
This dog shite isn't a new occurrence this season. It's just for the first time, Jones doesn't have a All-SEC player in the frontcourt

Trent Johnson was better with a tuba player playing center than this team.

We should decline to play the remaining games on our schedule like JJ did the NIT last year. Unfortunately they won't let us do that and I'm a basketball lifer so I'll still be tuning in. I'm going down with the ship.

I love how the announcer said LSU has a "knack" for making second half rallies. Translation: After the opponent clears their bench with a 30 point lead early in the second half, LSU can sometimes narrow the gap a little.
