last year we expected Bama to roll and the offense showed up, and McCarron looked human.

I agree, and its possible. I just dont expect anything out of the ordinary here. Well go to TTown and keep it close for 2.5 quarters then lose by 10-13 mostly due to the conservative play of Saban.

Really, the only chances I give the tigers is if some offensive and defensive wrinkles show up and the corners step up and play like we are accustomed to LSU corners playing.

While those are nice stats, I still do not have any confidence in our defense, especially later in games. We aren't A&M bad, but offenses tend to slice through us like a warm knife in butter.

LSU should put up at least 60-70 points on A&M. Vandy put up 24 Points and did not even have a QB!

Where do you guys get this idea that our offense is this much better than Bama's? They put up 42 offensive points against A&M. Why does anyone think we'll put up more than 49 against A&M? Bama puts up on average just slightly more than we do per game. We've both played comparable teams. Couple that with their defense being at least one full level better than ours -- we'll be extremely lucky (nothing short of a minor miracle really) to come out of tuscaloosa with a win.

#24 in offense is better than our usual 80-100 rank so that is a win win.
