Glad this thing has stayed offshore, but this is almost embarrassing for them. That's what happens when you are 90 miles WEST of a hurricane.

I'm sure you're also aware that the conditions in Gainesville are only part of the issue - emergency, security and first responder personnel, hotels, etc. all may have been more necessary throughout the state depending upon how badly the state was hit.
For me it was never about Gainesville getting hammered - more the entire eastern part of the state and the allocation of resources, etc.

yeah this is the new narrative now, yesterday it was "the safety of our players and students". but nothing happened, so now apparently the entire state of Florida has to be clear and 70 degrees for jeremy foley to play a tough game.
