Looks like Rice got replaced with Nicholls.

We were supposed to play Nicholls in 2020

Say want you want about that schedule but so unfair when you look at what Ohio st., Michigan, Clemson, USC will have to play to make it into the playoff. Sure maybe a couple 2 lost SEC teams get in but we know the media will put them(USC, Ohio st's,etc.)in while the SEC will be beating the shite out each other even more now. Going to be great games almost every Saturday

Swapping out Auburn for aTm is only change I would make. But considering how fricked this could have become, and the underlying respect it shows for LSU as a program keeping us with the Tide (the conference's golden child), I'm all smiles.

I don't need Aggie every year
anyone ever heard a decent explanation how we got stuck with these retards? I'd rather Mizzou if we had to pick up one of the new boys.

I’ll take that. UF > AU for me.

It’s only one year. Don’t expect UF to be there every season.

Since 1900 have played Arkansas a dozen times more than Auburn.

Everyone LSU would consider a bigger rival has someone else as a primary rival with the possible exception of Arkansas. LSU, A&M, Arkansas and Missouri are the last teams standing after everyone else is paired up. LSU-A&M and Arkansas-Missouri is the most logical arrangement of the 4 teams.

So Nicky was upset having a 9 game schedule with Aubie, LSU and Tenn. How 'bout an 8 game schedule with Aubie, LSU, Tenn and throw in UGA and Georgia

Under the proposed 9-game format, Bama would have played Auburn, Tennessee, LSU and Georgia in the same year every other season too, so this isn’t a worse outcome.

Alright somebody help me out. I think I've broken my brain trying to mock up the schedule on a calendar. It's probably something obvious I'm missing but to take the season from September 1st to the Saturday after Thanksgiving I end up with an extra week and not enough games?

September 1
September 7
September 14
September 21
September 28
October 5
October 12
October 19
October 26
November 2
November 9
November 16
November 23
November 30

That's 14 weeks, take off one for a bye and we still have 13 weeks but 12 games.

Some years teams get two bye weeks due to calendar quirks, it happened somewhat recently I remember. 2024 might be the next year of that, idk

Yes, some years have 14 weeks and 2 bye weeks. It looks like 2024 is one of those years.

Thanks. that was throwing me for a loop. As far as I knew we didn't have 2 byes so I was trying to figure out how the schedule worked.
