From 3/24 to 4/7 you see us losing three consecutive Friday night games. Is that a pitching or offensive problem in your opinion?

that's 4-5 "capables," though

while I do think it is possible, I just have concern with our line up...also our defense is taking a step back

so overall, Pitching has gotten better, but hitting and defense is most likely worse than last year

to me, there's just too many unknowns at this point with so many new faces

it's guessing and most definitely a product of our offense vs other teams ace

Oh there's no doubt its all unknown. I just have a good feeling . Likely due to my excitement that the season is here.

This is a concern for me though. Not so much in the outfield like a lot of people think since we lost Laird and Stevenson, but more on the infield. I feel like I saw quite a few errors in the scrimmage threads.

We will make it to the postseason and then forget how to hit the ball. Like the last two years

yep agreed, I'm definitely worried about infield defense more than outfield

its essential that we lose to Nicholls each year

Yeah, it's tough when they throw their Ace against our mid-week starter. Usually our mid-week is better, but Justin Sinibaldi can chunk. Potential first rounder. Wish he could have played for the Tigers.

You're so snarky. I'm gonna post so many laugh emojis at you when Dawson is a single machine and Bugg sets the single season saves record

I definitely don't see us winning 2 of 3 from them.

great now that most games are on the secn+ or whatever it's called. Very easy to watch online.

Key will be if the young guys can adjust sooner than later to the college game. Call me crazy, but I think our bats surprise some people. If Robertson continues to hit like he has in the scrimmages (big if) and Fraley hits like hes capable of, I think there are 2-3 other guys that are capable of hovering around the .300 mark. Some of the new guys will adjust quicker than expected (Breaux and Loch if they get them on the field. And I joke, but I do think Cannizaro can have a big impact. Expectations are low, but I wouldn't be surprised if the bats heat up as the weather does. Either way

I really hope the bats are great, but even after a month judging how good this team will be is still difficult. Last year we played in that Houston tourney, this year we play no one until Bama. Even if we are undefeated going into SEC play most of these guys haven't faced SEC pitching and will need to get ise to it. A major reason I am dissappointed in the non conference scheduling, worst one in the past few years.

I think we go 44-12, host a regional, travel for super regional, make it Omaha, and lose in the championship to Florida. I believe we will come out 2nd in the SEC tourney as well. Yes, I may have P&G glasses on, but if we can get it done at the plate, the sky is the limit for this team, but I think Florida will be too good to beat in the post season.

THIS

Jared Poche starting is a good thing but I am looking at us not being able to hit against the other team's ace.

3/24 - Texas A&M - Kyle Simonds, RHP (He is going to be a beast this season)
4/1 - Auburn - Cole Lipscomb (12 GS, 8-2, 2.49 ERA, 92 K, 25 BB)
4/7 - Vanderbilt - Ben Bowden or Jordan Sheffield, take your pick
