Well for starters our defense needs to play better than they did last year.

I seem to remember Dak torching us.

Also Nik Marshall destroyed us.

I think Notre Dame moved the ball pretty well too on us.

That being said, we need better QB production and better defensive play as well.

225 YPG and 1.5 TD per game has LSU in the mix for the SEC.

***Assuming less than 15 total TO's.

LSU will need above-average play at both QB and DL to win 10 games. If either one of those is mediocre, then winning 8 games is the most anyone can expect.

It seems like keeping the defense off the field will be key with depth up front becoming an issue. If the qb can not turn the ball over and sustain drives longer than 3 and out keeping the d fresh for the 4th qtr LSU will have a chance to win the west. For fun id say we need 15+ touchdowns less than 5 ints 10+ ypa and 60% comp.

I don't think winning 8 games is the most anyone can expect at all.

If we have average QB and DL play, we can and should win 10 games.

- Net 1.5 avg TD's/game (TD's minus INT's)
- 200+ avg yards per game
