The good: 7-2 record (I don't count the cupcakes)
The good: Excellent games against Bama and Carolina
The good: Beating A&M on the road
The good: Performances of QB and WR's in last 4 games

The bad: Performances of QB and WR's in first 8 games
Bad: Subpar performances against 3 inferior conference foes (Arky, OM and Auburn)

The ugly: The Florida game

Thoughts?

I don't think UM should be in this conversation. They are a much better team than 6-6. I was not ashamed by that win at all. That was a great game. I can't think of wins in general as bad. Maybe ugly.

Oh yeah, and it's 2012.

Defensive play the last 3 games is what annoys me the most.

Good - The emergence of young talent. (Mills, Alexander (Kwon and Vadal), Turner, Collins, Hill)

Bad - Attrition (injuries and otherwise): T Jones, Mathieu, Faulk, Wilford, Blue, Hurst, Jacobs, Muncie, etc...

The ugly: losing 23 players at one point during the season (uf game)
The ugly: the secondary getting torched in the last 3 games.

The ugly: the defensive penalties throught the season

The ugly: lack of a pass rush the last three games including one game where sam recorded 0 stats.

Not sure about defense vs. Moo U, but against Ole Miss and Arky (and aTM), we were up against very good passing attacks. People used to last year's lockdown corners and terrific safeties freeing up the LBs for more aggressive pass rushing and run defenses were "annoyed" this year when the less experienced (and arguably less talented) corners and safeties heeded help that took away from the pass rush and line of scrimmage defense, yielding more passing yards and more running yards between the 30 yard lines (and more scoring). But the coaching staff had to make a choice. Give the DBs some help, or risk getting torched by Manziel, Wallace and Wilson.

Are you giving a precursor to this year's Bowl Game or do you have a time machine that you're not telling anyone about?

Thanks, I gained a whole year there—that's important at my age.
