Now count all the dropped balls this year to last year and get back to me with these stats. Mett's numbers would be stupid good if our freaking WRs held on to the ball before the Bama game.

Show the WR stats. We don't have anyone similar to RR this year. IF you put him on the team it is a completely different story.

NOt only did he catch 200+ more yards than any other receiver, and 2x the TDs but he also opened up everything underneath for a legitimate number 2 receiver. We don't have a number one so you can't have a number 2 that gets open coverage.

Which is why if just ONE big bodied WR steps up on the outside next year and allows Jarvis or OBJ to go to the slot more often, this offense could be deadly.

This was a valid critique three weeks ago. No more. What these stats fail to show is the fact that the QB play has steadily improved. Or the fact that if we are in a 3rd and 6+, there is honest optimism that we will convert the third down. Or the fact that we actually now have a potent and balanced offense. It's Thanksgiving. Give thanks.

Now compare the stats of the last 4 games of the year now that Mett has experience as a starter and a command of the offense. Those fools last year shite the bed in the last quarter of the year.

No shite. That's why I said Mett's numbers are a little skewed. If he had a RR, well.........

stats are pretty misleading in this case considering all the outside forces. this years team would be smoked by last year. Not because of qb play but because of supporting cast.

also last year id suspect we had much better field position and our oline wasn't dog poop for over half the year.

I think next year mett is a much better comparison against last year jj/jl.
