Everytime I get excited about baseball its followed by immediate depression bc of the new bats. I've never seen them live. How bad will it be? Should I be depressed?

I dunno if I will be able to enjoy baseball from here on with the bat change.

I've heard that the West Coast teams like UC-Irvine will have a huge advantage this year because it will be mainly small ball. Very few home runs with the new bats. Success will rely on hitting gaps more than hitting bombs.

i can see mahtook having a really good year with a lot of doubles and triples, or a really not so good year with a lot of pop ups

hopefully he's improved his plate discipline immensely

Didier is still with the team. He'll see quite a few at bats this season. Only left handed bats are Didier, Eades, Lowery, and Dozar.

Rosado is at LSUE, he's going to be a good one!
