I'm lucky enough to share my bday with this glorious event. It was fate for me to be an LSU baseball fan. I'll never forget where I was when this happened.

Ok what exactly happened to the schedule? Seeing as we just finished regionals and that was the time they were actually finishing the college World Series. (I was barely alive)

I was 9 years old. Standing in front of my parents tv in our living room with a couple other relatives. I started jumping up and down and screaming when the ball went over the fence. i swear our house was shaking.

They pushed it back 3 weeks or so over time to accommodate Northern schools.

And to think that today we haven't even gotten to see who will be in the CWS much less the CWS already be completed!

our daughter was 3 and the Mrs. had just gotten her down for her nap. Then I went off dancing around the living room like some Indian doing a war dance.

I was 12 at the time, Tim Lanier was my favorite player. I was devastated when he struck out, that was short lived till Morris stepped up

About 8 years ago Brad Wilson came into the office I was working at. I said you were on 2nd base when Morris hit the home run. He was shocked that I knew that, and asked if I had just googled that. I said nope, I've been a huge LSU baseball fan since I was a kid and I remember that play like it was yesterday.

I think Brad Wilson was at 3rd base by the time Warren got up to bat. No?

My 13yo plays against Brad's team in local AAA tournaments.
