Stony Brook is a Regional #4 seed if I am correct. LSU is a National #7 seed. They should not be out playing LSU like this.

Had the SB catcher thrown that ball into the gap allowing Snickeris to reach 3rd would CPM or any fans be complaining?

Besides the point. Stop trying to deflect from WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. I'm tired of all these hypotheticals you set up to make your excuses for the umpires more reasonable.

CPM also said in the paper it was the right call.

Sigh. The call was correct. The officiating was shitty. Both things can happen at the same time. They are mutually exclusive. I feel like my argument has been completely ignored by you.

You are the one deflecting. I have given you a number of reasons why yelling ball 4 will not guarantee this doesn't happen. He was out and that is what actually happened! Get over it and quit being a bitch.

Derp. So I guess we just won't announce balls and strikes then because it doesn't help anything.

Yep, you haven't been able to process what I've been saying. I thought so.

You want the umpire to yell BALL 4 to alert the baserunner that he doesn't have to slide. Pretty easy to understand. What decibel level is required to ensure the runner hears his call? Do not agree some athletes block out noise in the heat of the moment which means some players would not here the call? Also what would prevent someone other than the ump yelling ball 4 and then tagging the runner out?
