And then we saw that this team is actually more talented than we thought.

Then Les Miles stepped in.....

I never expected us to win it all, but I do expect them to atleast be compitive. We've heard this song and dance before.

Next year
It's a young team
Four year cycle

The truth is they don't even do the small things well. We're talking about constantly playing undisciplined and missing blocks, tackles ect....
They come off a time out and get a delay of game. This isn't just this season but a pattern trough the Miles tenure. I've allways been a Miles supporter I can't say that anymore.

Im ready for a change but posting blatanf false statements isnt helping anything and usually a sign of someone just using overheard talking points.
To act like its been that way every year since hes been here is lazy...if you want to say last 3 seasons...ya its a fricking shame and annoying as frick to see product on field.

LSU plays ole Miss & Arkansas at the end of each season.
LSU is more a rivalry with them than LSU is against BAMA.
In 2007 Lsu lost to Kentucky & Arkansas in November.
Miles fans have exempted the excuse that Ole Miss & Arkansas are more motivated to play LSU and the Bama game excuse.
Reality is LSU does not improve as the year progresses and other teams do.
Miles MO on offense is running plays and personal with no rhyme or reason, costly penalties, delay of gains for not getting the plays in on time, costly TO's or not using them when we should, no adjustments and devaluing the QB position.
Miles is a compulsive creator of habbit, from his clothes, eating to offensive philosophy and winning is not more important then changing.

Lets say you're a restaurant owner and you expected sales on a Thursday night to be $8500. You're on target for your monthly goals, the weeks numbers look good so no reason to panic, then on Thursday 6 busses of fat hungry people on their way to Disney walk through the doors.

Nobody gives a rats arse frick what you expected to do three months ago. Your expectations and results should change as you do. As a person or a business. Those who rely on what they were expected to do and use it as a crutch to when they fail are failures in life.

+1
There's one problem with your scenario:

You are talking mostly to millennials that haven't really worked yet. If they do work, they absolutely hate it and you are talking about the owner of the restaurant that is the businessman.....not the grudge-holding worker.

So goal-setting and goal-reaching haven't really reached their lexicon, yet.

It is not the # of losses it is how we lost them. Playing dead and looking like morons is unacceptable. How many offensive penalties did we have on the drive after Arkansas kicked a fg to up 10? It was alot and we had back to back false starts.

Losing when you tried your heart out and just got beat by a better team is one thing, but shotting yourself in the foot and not being prepared, etc is another.

Les Miles gives us the best chance to win it all next year

Are you kidding or is this a serious post?

He's probably right. Has any coach won a title in their first year at the program?

It doesn't mean LSU will win one, but our best shot at winning next year is probably with Miles. Now if you want to say our best shot at winning in 3 years would be to hire a new coach, then I would agree.

A loss is one thing. Letting another team dominate and humiliate you in Tiger Stadium is another.

Yes, the frustrating part is how we lost the past two games. Being whipped on the lines is deflating.

While most of us expected 9-3, 10-2, the way the first half of the season started showed this teams capability. I can live with the Alabama loss, simply because everyone loses to them. But to be out scored 31-14 by an Arkansas team that could very easily be 2-7 on your home field which is considered the toughest place to play in America is absolutely pathetic
