So we are who we thought we are. We knew we had a young team that would have to take its lumps. Hats off to Coach Miles and the players for getting all the way to # 2 in the standings. Perfect season to build on for next year. Les Miles gives us the best chance to win it all next year. You people who think the grass is greener on the other side need to head over to the Pelicans board and talk to those folks over there.

common posi rant.

The problem is that we have had to set those expectations for some time now.

But now that we know we are what we thought we were, let's decide to keep a good coach and not search for a great one......wrong.

So this guy said we are young and always next year in the same post.

Then he goes off by saying we were ranked as high as 2 and congratulates him.
WTF do we get a ribbon for being ranked number 2 at point? Auburn was ranked 2 earlier as well.

While true, I bet most expected us to be at least competitive in those games. We were absolutely dominated in two of our toughest games of the season, with two more tough games to go. We have beaten 1 respectable team this year, and we tried to give that game away.

the problem is most thought some of those losses would come earlier

the 7-0 start proved to be false hope

most thought Auburn or Florida would be a loss

a November collapse is hard to swallow after the expectations after the Florida game

Try telling the rant that when lsu was undefeated, but nobody listens...yeah we won 7 games, but there were some serious flaws leading up to the last 4 games

September contenders, November pretenders. Rinse repeat every season with Miles.

Miles showed everyone that this team has the potential to be great. Getting embarrassed 2 weeks in a row in November (again) shows why another late season collapse is unacceptable. This is a problem b/c it is a pattern. For the rest of Miles' time at LSU we can/will expect him to shite the bed every November. In addition he's lost 3 of the last four bowl games. I've been a pumper for years. I'm ready to see what else is out there.

I thought Alabama was supposed to be "young" this year? Hmmmm they don't seem to make that excuse every year as we do

Lets say you're a restaurant owner and you expected sales on a Thursday night to be $8500. You're on target for your monthly goals, the weeks numbers look good so no reason to panic, then on Thursday 6 busses of fat hungry people on their way to Disney walk through the doors.

Nobody gives a rats arse frick what you expected to do three months ago. Your expectations and results should change as you do. As a person or a business. Those who rely on what they were expected to do and use it as a crutch to when they fail are failures in life.

So you're saying you expected LSU to lose to Arkansas. Got it.

Im ready for a change but posting blatanf false statements isnt helping anything and usually a sign of someone just using overheard talking points.
To act like its been that way every year since hes been here is lazy...if you want to say last 3 seasons...ya its a fricking shame and annoying as frick to see product on field.

Arkansas always plays us hard. I was expecting Bama, Ole Miss, and either Miss St/Arkansas to be losses.

Every year it is the same shite show. There is always an excuse. Young team. To many left for NFL. Other teams have the same problems but sure seem to overcome this. Not so much with Les and Cam. You have to remember that Cam was fired from multiple previous jobs. When he was fired from the Ravens the offense got BETTER! Don't even mention the play of the special teams. Worst special teams play in years.

Next year will be lost in the next 2 weeks.

Think about what we lose if the culture of going pro as soon as you are able continues.

3/5 OL gone
5/6 DL gone
4/6 DB gone
3/3 LB gone

We would have QB, WR, and RB return. That RB will be worried about the draft. A 4-8 season unfolds.
