Off tackle run by Blue.

James Wright scores the first TD.

Lots of people still think Ware is the starter, eh? Interesting.

Since we know Mett has it down pat, a naked bootleg by Mett from the 10 yrd line. But this time he really does score.

I'm hoping for a downfield pass to be the first play, but I know Miles won't allow it to happen

Best chance: run first, play action second. First TD guess: Spencer Ware rushes in from the 2 yard line.

I would love to see Shep surprise us all and live up to all the talk when he was coming in about him being able to give us a threat able to take it to the house everytime he touched the ball like Harvin was for UF back in 08.

I'd like to think against North Texas if we do run the ball on the 1st play that we do a little better then 3-5 yards...

That's just me though.

Most of the big runs (10yds+) come after the half, @ 66%.
In 2011 Lee hit RR for 40+yds vs FCS NSU on very 1st play though.

I'll be pulling for the long bomb statement type play for the 1st play but we shall see.

Miles could surprise the world and go with the ole FB blast... Nobody would see that coming.

First Offensive Play: Hand off over right tackle to Ware.
Player to Score First TD: Chase Clement.

FB draw is a cool trick play, but would rather they save it for Gump pursuit.
I think they need to work on timing routes and getting the pass O in sync while the risk of a loss is low. Something like 35/65 R/P%.
