And Harris scrambles and just chunks the ball down field to no one. Well there was 2 Tigers within 10 to 15 yards of the ball.

That in itself should be all we need to know about Harris and so should Miles.

He scrambled because someone missed a block....again

ETA: I'm not saying he's good...but it seemed like he was running for his life a lot

You should learn to separate the two.

He spun out of trouble because a defender ran in untouched and got there almost as quickly as the snap did. He made a bad decision to still throw the ball at that point, but it should have never come to that.

Yeah I get that but no one put a gun to his head and told him to just throw the ball down field to not even a Tiger in reach of the ball. He should have used his head and just ran the damn ball. I get that he was under pressure the whole game due to our pathetic offensive line that got their dicks kicked in.

he made a great move to escape....but then made an incredibly stupid decision

it about sums up brandon harris....small flash of greatness, followed shortly by massive disappointment

I felt like I was watching the same thing as Anthony Jennings in 2014 against Bama. Just run the ball downfield!

I actually thought he was about to take a sack, I was screaming at the tv then saying you can't take a sack here.

Looks like that would've been best

We should have ran the ball up the middle 3 times and kicked the FG. We win 17-16. Losing sucks, but it may finally send Miles out which at this point is what needs to happen.

I agree a QB has to know that point in the game and at the field position we were at that any yard gained is a plus. What have we said all off season long. All Harris has to do is manage the game and he couldn't even do that. I am by no means blaming him alone for this lost but that was a really bad, really bad decision!

It was an awful INT. Yes.

It also sort of smacked of frustration.

It happens.

We shouldn't have even been in that situation.

And when he broke free he chunks the ball instead of running or picking our a receiver or throwing the ball away. This is his 3rd year its not going to get any easier then that play.

Harris panicked. He avoided the rush he had a wide open field that could have gotten him about 7-8 yards if he had just decided after avoiding the blitz to run for it.

Dear God I hop that it does. QBs at all levels have made that mistake.

A series of mistakes, in a final drive in a game that we sucked in for all of 67 seconds.

Penalty - 5 yards

Missed block - scramble

QB just tosses ball to defender - game over.

Face it - coaching is down right piss poor; OL is average at best due to poor recruiting and development; and QB is overmatched at this level.

End of story.

Miles said you fans asked for passing, stfu.
The game is either still too fast for Harris and/or he's just terribly inaccurate and Miles prolly had right idea limiting his throws.

To those pointing out that blocking was dismal rewatch the number of times they held the line and BH held on to the ball or sailed it way over a WR's head. Our line has no incentive to block for the guy who struggles during game time. Saw the same with JJ, AJ, and now BH.

He also had a lineman right there to serve a lead blocker. may have gotten 20 yards

What blows is he had plenty of time after he juked the rush. Just hit the wide open WR and win.

To which one might well ask: Then why is this man the starter at QB.

Don't say the others are worse either, because you can't do worse than this last Sat (a lose is a lose).
