I believe we have only had 17.

And did you actually update the numbers for other teams? Because Alabama is going to have like 5-6 this year alone.

Of that list it only would have beneficial for Minter to come back IMO. MAYBE Montgomery, but by Jan 15th he was a projected 1st rounder...then he opened his mouth.

And of these, multiple were basically kicked off the team and several players were 4th year players. I'm not sure what is so overly complicated about that.

So, you post incomplete information and then get indignant when called out for it? You seem like a bitch.

well this year, the underclassmen are landry, obj, hill, turner, ego, freak. add in probable Collins, possible blue. that's 8. does any other team in the nation have more than eight this year. we know LSU had the most last year.

Minter was projected by some to be the first MLB taken. He ended up going mid second.

Last year was a perfect storm of guys leaving. You had everything from an Australian punter not wanting to go to school, to 2 RBs pushed out by younger guys, to a guy being kicked off the team the previous year, to a guy suffering a major injury that kept him out of football for 2 years.

That's why my belief is that it was a phenomenon, but schools like LSU will consistently see 4-7 underclassmen leave every year.

Dude Blue is not a fricking underclassman. He is a senior and is electing to not come back for a 5th year medical redshirt season.

That is NOT an underclassman declaring.

The only reason I say that about Minter, is he ended up in a spot where he really didnt play any meaningful defensive snaps all season.
