Does anyone have any intel on him? If called is he game ready?

Never know in a tough SEC lineup his number may be called.

probably not that close to game ready, but I think he's going to be a lot better than people realize...he's kind of sandwiched between what seems like the future QBs of the program, but I think he'll have a season to be a solid QB here.

I hope we can keep him as a redshirt for this year.

Reportedly has better mechanics and fluency than either AJ or BH had upon arrival.

I don't expect elite arm strength or running talent from him, but he sounds like he has potential to develop into a solid option if he puts in the work.

Gents, we may be looking at almost drool-worth QB depth in the near future

He's the kind of guy you want in the system for a couple years and then be ready to step in if needed.

Number 3 on your depth chart, but already number one in your hearts.

Poor man's Kyler Murray, but I think that would be great behind Harris, Jennings, and Franks the next 5 years.

ETA: I think by year 3 he'd be good enough to be the starter, but we'll see.

Of course not. He's a true freshman.

Normally I would laugh at you for saying this, but with this fanbase it's totally possible.

I would say the hope is that Harris stays four years, but if he leaves after his junior season, McMillan as a RSSo would be able to step in and give Franks more time to develope.
It's almost always better to be able to play a RSSo or Junior as opposed to true sophomores and RSFr.

Hard worker and a student of the game. Gained ~20 pounds since he's been on campus and said he wants to redshirt to learn the play book and be ready.

Absolutely true.

He already has superior arm talent when compared to AJ10. With a year in the S&C program (he's much lighter than BH6 when he hit campus as an EE) he'll get even stronger now that he's got a training table and superior instruction from a physique and body transformation standpoint.

He chucked it all around the field in HS so he's comfortable operating a passing offense. Where his head is at I'm not sure but I do know that he'll be looked at to RS unless something goes very wrong this year.

If we get best-case scenario and BH6 takes the reigns without spitting the bit this year, then I do honestly expect AJ10 to transfer for his Senior Year. Hard to really blame him to be quite honest.

With Franks coming in as a True Frosh next year, LSU will absolutely look to RS him. Which means McMillan will be the backup in 2015.

Its one of those weird Texas High school football things.
just like Odessa has "MOJO" and Wylie High school has "AMHO". It Means "Turn The Horns Loose."

No true freshman is truly "ready" for SEC play.
