right, I will think twice before buying tickets to games...with the new TV contract and more 11am start times, I won't be burned again.

there's a reason UF doesn't like to play us at night. south carolina found out saturday.

we just seem to play sloppy in morning games. tulane a few yrs back in the dome. having to escape starkville. of course the bluegrass miracle was a JP game, for everyone one of those there's an app st or UK last yr but this is probably the best opp we've played at this time in some time.

Here is why:

LSU is coming off an emotional victory. Our backs were against the wall, the media was doubting us, our fans were doubting us, and we went balls out and won. It is hard to do that twice in a row. It's even harder to do that at a time of day in which you are not used to playing football. The fear is that we come out flat and sleepy. I think it is a legitimate fear. It is up to the coaches to combat this and the players to take ownership of this season.

In juxtaposition, while I am sure the Aggies would prefer a night game, they are believed to be already amped for this game. Although they are 5-1 and ranked in the Top 20, they are still looking for a signature win to announce their arrival on the national stage. New coach, new conference, new attitude. Lots of optimism. They would love nothing more than for their first big SEC win to come against a juggernaught like LSU. And they believe they can do it. They will not come out flat. They will be ready. And if we're not, our guys could find themselves in a huge hole, on the road and in an extremely hostile environment.

Thus far, until last week, this Tiger team has not handled adversity well.

So the above explains all of the legitimate concern. But I think this team has turned the corner. I think they are on a mission. Take care of A&M in dominating fashion, then take two weeks to prepare for an all out war with Bama to avenge the title game.

The more I think about this game, Its a pretty big mismatch if you ask me. We will have this game in the bag by mid 3rd qtr. two weeks to prepare for the midget and the gumps, I like our chances

How so?

A&M has a pretty legitimate offense. Of course, they haven't played our defense. But that is a strength against strength.

A&M's defense hasn't looked great, but our offense has looked pedestrian in the majority of our games. Weakness against weakness.

What we cannot do is let our defense get worn out again like Florida. A&M is going to go hurry up and try to tire us out. We need to control the time of possession. No stupid false starts. No field punts inside of the 10 and putting us in horrible field position. And put together some nice, clock chewing drives.

But I don't see the "big mismatch." I think we win. But I'm not expecting a Washington-type win.

Our team, more than most, is used to playing night games. They are the road team that has to wake up early for this game. Those corps nerds get up at like 5 AM to blow each other so you know they'll be wide awake in the stadium.

I am also just selfish and hate waking up that early on weekends. Gotta start drinking at 8 AM.

not scared, more like pissed off. Its the renewal of our rivalry with A&M and a top 25 matchup and we get passed over for the dog shite UT/BAMA game which will most likely be a blow out.

They(sorry lol) will not be able to run the ball on us. Plain and simple.

I feel we will able to run the ball. I like what I saw last week. trust me when I say this I am one of the more critical posters of Les miles.

I believe the last time we lost a pre-noon kickoff game (regular season) was in 2000 at Florida, 41-9.

Like others have said, no one is scared.

It just takes away the experience of a game day, no time to wake up and get pumped.

Blows my mind how the SEC is held hostage to that Alabama-Tennessee slop. Look,I love SEC history as much if not more than 99% of everyone here. But for the love of Pete that game hasn't meant diddle to anyone besides those two since 1973.
