Over the years, we've played some bad 11:00 am games.

The main one that comes to mind is ole Miss, 1997, the week after beating Florida.

I believe we almost lost to moo state back in '09, that was an 11 a.m. kickoff. Chad Jones saved our arse.

I just remeber the email from TAF about away tickets and aTm face value being $100. If you bought them before the season thats how much you paid.

Edit: yep I just checked again, face is $100.

Actualy it helps me out a lot. I'm committed for Sat night.

I just don't like that LSU usually plays in the evening and they will now be playing in the morning. I foresee a sluggish start.

This game worries me but not becuase of the start time. I've always thought that was more about the fans than players.

I prefer road games in the day time.

LSU is coming off an emotional victory. Our backs were against the wall, the media was doubting us, our fans were doubting us, and we went balls out and won. It is hard to do that twice in a row. It's even harder to do that at a time of day in which you are not used to playing football. The fear is that we come out flat and sleepy. I think it is a legitimate fear. It is up to the coaches to combat this and the players to take ownership of this season.

In juxtaposition, while I am sure the Aggies would prefer a night game, they are believed to be already amped for this game. Although they are 5-1 and ranked in the Top 20, they are still looking for a signature win to announce their arrival on the national stage. New coach, new conference, new attitude. Lots of optimism. They would love nothing more than for their first big SEC win to come against a juggernaught like LSU. And they believe they can do it. They will not come out flat. They will be ready. And if we're not, our guys could find themselves in a huge hole, on the road and in an extremely hostile environment.

Nobody plays well in the morning, so it should even out. It takes the crowd out out of it, which is an advantage to us.

If we were playing at a Big 10 school that normally kicked off at noon, that would be different. 11 AM this weekend should be a slight benefit to us.

You are dreaming the Ags have been pointing to this game for a year they will be amped. It will be hard for LSU to match their intensity.

I don't care how amped they are, they won't be as amped at 11AM than they would be at 2:30 or 7:00.

Because the visiting team has to get up with the chickens and bus a few hours while the Aggies sit in their beds and walk to the game mid morning.
