Alexis Serna's nightmare became a reality.

This dude's melt was EPIC. Only other melt this big had to be John Vaughn in 2005, right?

ETA: the 4th is Friday night. My apologies.

poor bastard...it was a great preview for vaughn

he went on to become a pretty good kicker (think he won the groza one year) so we all walked away happy in the end

I'm surprised Cade Foster never melted like this with all of his missed FGs in his career.

Just watched a piece of that, and man I cannot imagine what went through that kids mind on the last miss. As fired up as I was at the time, it's still painful to watch ( for him ) later .

I remember the streaker sending out a petition after his arrest. He was trying to get support from fans so the judge wouldn't make him register as a sex offender.

The streaker was hilarious. Everything about that game was so weird.

Damn I loved JaMarcus.

I actually left that game with about 5 minutes left. I heard the roar of his TD with a minute left as I walked across the south side. Never left early again unless we were blowing the team out in the 4th. Shame on my freshman self, too scared to bring booze in and pissed at the game, wet and hungover. No excuse.

Man I miss all of those downfield crossing routes. Jamarcus to Bowe was such a fun thing to watch

My first game as a student, but since I couldn't get student tix that year I was in my family's seats.

One of the most unforgettable games I've been to. Bizarre game all around. There was the monsoon, then it got incredibly humid after the rain passed, and the field was caked with mud. Stayed up all night to see Gameday (NEVER AGAIN) so the rain delay was extra draining. I was on fumes waiting on kickoff, and my second wind, to come.

There was a combination of relief and jubilation after he missed the last XP. I couldn't believe it until I started hearing others around me begin to shout out:

"HE MISSED IT! HE MISSED IT!"

Derek Anderson played a hell of a game that night, kept getting the ball out on the 3rd step of his drop before the any Tiger could get near him. We were fortunate to win that night.

South end zone, 1st row for that game. Pregame streaker sliding around out there... Jamarcus comeback diving into the end zone. Would have been a bad feeling leaving with a loss soaked in that heavy dew.

One of the luckier wins we've had in recent memory. Looking back, that 2004 team was a few plays away from being 7-5 or 11-1.

Also interesting that only six of our games were nationally televised that year, whereas every single game is now
