I am proud of this thread because that game was exactly what we all knew could happen to this team... Growing pains cost us a win. If the team wouldn't have come back late then there would be a problem. The fact that they took MSU's best punches and almost came back proves that they've grown a lot in that game alone.

And don't be too hard on Miles. When your players are two years younger than their opponents at 7 out of 11 positions it ain't easy to fire on all cylinders. I would blame the DTs who left early without decent draft grades before I blame Les. What would those MSU runs up the middle have looked like with those two on the field?
