Don't know if it was an optical illusion or not, but it looked to me like the attendance was 60% Bama fans and 40% LSU Fans in the dome Monday night.
If I am acurate, imagine how the players may have felt coming out of the locker room for the final time pior to the game and seeing a larger number of Bama fans than LSU fans. May have been a huge distraction/disappointment for them, if accurate.

probably felt like more Bama fans since they did a lot more cheering during the game. in reality it was probably 50/50 or even more LSU fans

Given their advantage in securing tickets on the open market before LSU even knew they were in the game, I am really not surprised.

Between 50-50 and 55-45. Not much of an advantage at all. At least from where I sat that's how it looked.

Felt like we were back in T town. Student section held its own most of the game, but no match for the crimson Pom pom's.

60/40 in favor of LSU. May have felt like more Alabama cause LSU had nothing to cheer about.

I counted the sections from my seat since it was more entertaining than our offense and it was around 55/45 LSU, give or take 5 in each direction

It was about 50/50 but probably a slight LSU advantage (but not nearly as much as many thought it would be). I was on both sides of the dome for a bit. Its hard to tell when you only see the other teams side which is freakin' red.

Just my opinion from seeing where the colors started and stopped, were fully one color or a good mix - purple/Gold was the prominent color in about 60% of the lower and middle/club section, 80% of the suites(thanks to the binoculars), and we had slightly less than half of the upper levels. I'm assuming in this case that the upper level is about equal to the lower level and club combined, which may not be the case but looked close to me.

They certainly made more noise than we did in teh second half, but thats not surprising. It also easier to look like a bigger number when you have one prominent color and those damn pom-poms things.

just nothing to cheer about making it sound more Alabama than it actually was.
